Our contribution to The Big Draw was to create life-sized people filled with illustrations and words to represent our aspirations and to create Manga drawings using a tutorial to help us with the structure... take a look at the photographs below... the outcomes were really fantastic!

n Numeracy, we have been finding fractions of amounts, simplifying fractions and finding equivalent fractions. We decided to link our learning to decorating biscuits! We then offered out our 'fractional biscuits' at Celebration Friday! Yum Yum!

Climate Change Art

Mrs Dale has had a FANTASTIC time working with our talented artists. The children were given opportunities to explore possible techniques and effects with a variety of artistic materials. Ink was a favourite and you can see from some of these pieces how effectively used it can be. This unit of work was led by the children and as you can see, we have some extremely talented and creative learners in Year 5/ 6.
