This term in 5/6 we have been learning about Japan and for my home learning I did about Japanese food. In my home learning, I included some Japanese pictures of food such as Traditional Dishes, Noodles and Sushi. I have learnt that the word for meal in Japan is Gohan and that Rice is the most important food in Japan. A Japanese meal is made up of rice, soup, a main dish and 2 or more side dishes.

Rosie's Home Learning

This term in year 5/6 we have been focusing on Japan as our topic. So we all brought in some home learning based on Japan; ,I did a booklet about Japanese cartoons(Manga). I included some pictures I drew as well . I used markers for the colour and drew with a pencil. In this picture, I drew a picture of a knight, I also drew a dragon, two girls and two boys accompanied with some information about the history of manga.

I chose to learn all about Japanese food at home because love food!
Some of the food that I have found out about is sushi,  sashimi, wasabi dishes and noodle dishes....

In year 5\6 we have been previously been learning about Japan . In my home learning I had mentioned a lot of information about the Japanese food and I learnt that Japanese people eat sushi, including all different meat. Also I had learnt about Japanese religions. There are many different religions in Japan like Kyoto and many more. I also learnt there was lots of schools in Japan just like Robin hood.
